Intended for students who have not yet graduated and are under age 19 on July 1 of this year. This entry-level course covers the basics of photography as they apply to Digital SLR cameras. No previous photo experience is required. This course examines traditional aspects, such as exposure, depth-of-field, and composition,and also delves into basic digital controls, such as white balance, histograms, and elemental workflow. The emphasis in most classes will focus on completing different shooting challenges. Students in this course will need to use a Digital SLR camera. Students without cameras are also welcomed to join the course, as cameras will be available for loan during class time.
